This program offers options in Costa Rica to participate in internships in areas such as Environmental Science, Education, Health, Sports, Finance and Business, Engineering and Industry
These internships are monitored “in situ” by IIP staff, who act as middlemen between the foreign and local organization. IIP offers interns the option to sign up in Spanish courses for foreigners which allows them to have a better performance during their stay at the host country.
The internships are considered a field experience in addition to the students’ course work . The foreign organization must carry out an academic log on the students’ work. The local organization must provide an internal tutor who will act as a guide and advisor for the student.
